The team consists of several IT staff or contacts based at each Campus where the Division has a significant presence. As a group, we are responsible for supporting the IT needs of some 8 Schools and approximately 26 research centres within the University.
Our mission is to achieve ongoing improvements to the efficiency and effectiveness of IT support arrangements throughout the Division, and thus contribute to the development of the University's teaching, research and learning environment.
The centrally based Information Strategy and Technology Services group is responsible for the management of University wide information technology services such as data networks, telephone systems, e-mail, and access to the internet. ISTS provides a range of 'help' services to assist students and staff, and supports general computer teaching suites, barns and walkups.
