IT Service Calls
To assist us with managing the IT team’s workflow, staff and students are strongly encouraged to use the IT Helpdesk as their primary means of contacting IT support.
The completion of an IT service call is mandatory, as this ensures that tasks are assigned to the appropriately designated support person, and each team is able to identify areas of high service demand and allocate resources accordingly.
Please be aware that there can be delays in support response times as a consequence of IT staff involvement with various other University IT projects and activities. Staff however have the capacity to track the progress of their individual requests and to view summarised information in relation to these broader IT support activities.
In situations where the matter is urgent, staff are able to check the Team roster and then contact their designated local IT support person, using the mobile numbers in the links provided.
